A still from Me, Myself & Mary, showing a kaleidoscopic vision of ketamine-induced mania, i which I - Séamas - am holding a tray of drinks surrounded by cosmic ephemora, planets, rainbows, mushrooms etc, standing on a rainbow, flanked by Mary McAleese and my boss's boss's boss's boss. There is a giant me - Séamas - standing behind me, with three eyes, backed by a rainbow, with his hands outstretched in puppeteer stance.
The film stars Chris O'Dowd as me, and Aisling Bea as my boss. It's a work of insane genius by John Michell and Antagonist films.
And, now, because of their fine work, this diorama of me on ketamine serving drinks to Mary McAleese is the banner image for Tribeca's entire animation shorts program.
Do you want to see the "big picture" on climate change?
Here it is.
Emissions are on the left, and include CO2, CH4, N2O, and f-gases. Natural CO2 sinks (from healthy forests & oceans) are on the right. And carbon removal, what little there is, is on the right, too. All expressed as GWP100.
24 companies funding Trump's ballroom received $279B in gov't contracts in the past 5 years.
Most are facing federal enforcement actions for conflict of interest.
These are not random donations, but clearly an effort to win favors from the Trump regime.
Have been wondering when candidates would start talking about this. One of the biggest corruption scandals is U.S. history playing out in real time.
Once again wishing that either the F in my last name wasn’t silent, or that Palantir was run by a different psychopath.
There had been 375 performances before the New York Police Department raided West and her company on 9 February 1927. 325,000 people had seen the show, including members of the police department and their wives, judges of the criminal courts, and seven members of the district attorney's staff. 2/2

It’s absolutely incredible that one of the largest Japanese-run Go servers, which has been running since 1992, is still accessed entirely via Telnet. And while most players use GUI clients that use Telnet under the hood, you can still connect manually and get ASCII graphics streamed to you
Good morning, we have arrived at Swindon to report on this.
A few people are already gathering, having walked outside from the local pride hub here.
Sarah Isgur QTing the NYT shadow docket story: In 2014 and 2015, the Court used the “shadow docket” to stop Texas’ anti-abortion restrictions from going into effect while the case was pending. The left was thrilled with the shadow docket at that point—years before this case even existed…
Isgur is such a fucking hack. the case she’s referring to is one where the 5th Circuit entered a stay and it was appealed to SCOTUS. the case in the Times story involved the Court intervening to stay an EPA rule while a lower court was still adjudicating the issue.
Breaking: HHS’s ban on gender-affirming care is struck down. Rarely have I read a ruling this sharply worded.
“This case is one of a long list of examples of how a leader’s wanton disregard for the rule of law causes very real harm to very real people.”

That was significant, she told The San Francisco Chronicle, because “the clinical trials are the only way you can get treatment.”' Long helped save so many lives.
