Early 7th grade - the only way I keep it in my memory is because I was all set to go to state finals and got mono from drinking out of a Pepsi can of Danny K. on school bus on way home. Unable to go further, missed two months of school. I never grew any taller after this lol - still 5 ‘3” now. 🙏
