I live in a low-density, older neighbourhood in Edmonton. I don’t object to increased density, but 8 2-bdrm units, 3 storeys high, mid-block on 1 lot, with no parking, is a bit much. Isn’t there something between single family and 8-family dwellings. Btw-these new bldgs are for airbnbs, not homes.

Same in Alberta. We aren’t even following federal guidelines. Even though ppl over 65 are encouraged to get two vaccines per year, we are only allowed one per year in AB and have to pay $100 for it.

I do see what you are saying. I’m in Canada but pay pretty close attention to American politics. I thought both Edwards and Swalwell were upstanding guys. It shakes one’s confidence at being able to discern a good person from a complete reprobate.

Me too and I live in Alberta. My ancestors were tough prairie folks - whining and complaining was not part of our dna. If I did not need to stay and fight for my handicapped child (now 47 yrs old), I’d be outta here. To move him would be too hard on him so I endure the idiots.
