If you are worried that China is beating us, then take a look at this. China is investing heavily in renewable energy. The USA is fighting all forms of green energy.
Reducing dependence on fossil fuels, and diversifying our energy sources could help us get ahead.
It could prevent wars over oil.

Greetings from the R/V Sonne. We are exploring barite/methane seeps in the San Clemente Basin. www.marum.de/en/StartSO31...
We will be diving live today with the MARUM Quest ROV starting approximately 10:00 am PST (19:00 hours CET) if everything goes as planned. Watch here: www.youtube.com/marumTV
Sadly, today the day has come when I will stop watching funny cat movies (or any funny, amazing, or shocking movies) on the internet. I can‘t any longer tell the difference between what is real or AI-generated 😩 Guess only trusted journalism is what will remain. Thanks AI for taking cat movie joy.
My spouse has been working for different companies as a tech QA lead and they test Safari 🤷🏼♀️ I get it that you cant test all PC browsers but Apple has only ☝️
I am tired of webpage logins and online trainings that are not properly programmed for Safari. There is only one standard browser for Apple - since decades. How hard can it be to program everything not only for the many PC/Android browsers but also for THE one -the only one- Apple browser?
I wished there were centralized, officially certified, and widely accepted online trainings for matters like Title IX, ethics, cyber security, lab safety, etc. There is so much redundancy when each institution/activity/event requests their own self-generated training from us.
Thanks! My master student is actually investigating this right now, because we find
still sone methane oxidation activity when the usual activists are inhibited (no TEA). Could be fermentation…

The update is extremely important for technology that relies on the Earth’s magnetic field, namely the Global Positioning System (GPS) and other satellite-based navigation systems used elsewhere in the world.

How do marine food webs respond to increasing alkalinity? A GEOMAR study has assessed the impacts of a moderate Ocean Alkalinity Enhancement (OAE) application, showing that the effects on zooplankton are likely minimal and that the food web could remain stable.
