For the bullied: Teach them how to speak up safely, get help from adults, and build confidence.
For the bully: Help them understand their actions, learn kindness, and make better choices.
For witnesses: Encourage them to stand up, support friends, and tell a trusted adult. #TeacherEd #SafeSchools

HIB can be hard to spot and stop, especially online, and students may be scared to speak up.
It helps us teach kindness, respect, and how to stand up for others, while building a safer, stronger school community.

We teach students to speak up, stand up for others, and treat everyone with kindness. Through clear expectations, SEL lessons by our school counsellor, and trusted adult support, students know their voices matter and they’re never alone.

I use interactive tools like Kahoot, BrainPOP, and Google Slides to make lessons fun and engaging. Educational games and videos help reinforce concepts in a student-friendly way. Technology also allows students to collaborate and express their learning creatively. #TeacherEd #EdTech

I find GoGuardian to be very useful while students go on their computers. Also I tend to avoid giving homeworks that need to utilise their computer in that way I can prevent students from using AI . #TeacherEd #EdTech

Technology boosts engagement, supports differentiated instruction, and makes assessment and communication more efficient. However, it also brings challenges like tech issues, the need for training, and concerns about screen time. Access to devices at home can also be unequal #TeacherEd #EdTech

@rutgersaltroute.bsky.social "I love the strategies you tried here. What else might work?"
"Your hard work is really paying off, look at how much you've improved!" "It’s okay to find this challenging. Challenges help your brain grow." #TeacherEd #GrowthMindset

@rutgersaltroute.bsky.social it focuses on valuing growth, effort& improvement rather than just results. A challenge I've faced is shifting students' focus from grades to learning, especially when they are used to being judged only by scores. It takes time and consistent feedback #GrowthMindset

@rutgersaltroute.bsky.social Mindset-conscious framing means intentionally using language that highlights effort, strategies, and growth over fixed abilities. To cultivate a growth mindset, teachers should model perseverance, praise progress #TeacherEd #GrowthMindset

One challenge I faced was to make sure every student felt successful and included even if they learnt in different ways.Pairing fast learners with slow learners worked better as they became more understanding ,kinder & learnt better with their peers.#TeacherEd #SpEd @rutgersaltroute.bsky.social
