It's weird how much diagnosis and treatment for C-PTSD helps and doesn't. The spontaneous intrusive thoughts and nightmares flashbacks still happen, I'm just, I'm just better able to keep block triggers and can recover more quickly.
There isn't a cure, only somewhat reducing the permanent harm.

I rarely see this so well said. Though I experienced it for different reasons than the OP - mine was trauma and the reaction to my eventual C-PTSD diagnosis and treatment - I look back at how many people enjoyed the ability to force me into flashbacks and were angry at no longer being able to do so.
