New review paper on familiar face recognition with Gyula Kovács and Stefan Schweinberger. We review recent EEG/ERP findings and present an updated theoretical approach.

We report 2 key findings...
1. Whichever factors distinguish SRs from controls, they are not face-specific.
2. SRs are not all cut from the same cloth. Rather, the factors distinguishing SRs from controls seem to be individual-specific.
