R-Rated Netflix Survival Thriller Is Already The Year’s Most Misunderstood Film Disaster thrills meet absurd shark chaos in a misunderstood satire that plays it straight while leaning into B-movie insanity.

I feel bad for the writer/director but otherwise I’ve been loving reading some choice hilarious reviews where the critic treats the film as 100% earnest.

Ah'd totally recommend it to other shark-movie nerds. It's got it all. Cheesy af, nail-biting, has ye shouting instructions to the folk 'in the water' at the telly, and ofcourse laughing yer heid off... all at once.
