Goodbye to the skating season-hello Spring on Sunday March 22nd 1-4pm. There will be hotdogs, hamburgers, and refreshments. There will also be a raffle with some awesome prizes for the kids. #yeg
I attended Chinatown Transformation Collaborative's IWD Luncheon at The Lingnan featuring inspiring speakers Teresa Spinelli of The Italian Centre, Edmonton Historian Laureate Donna Coombs-Montrose, Amy Quon (The Lingnan's matriarch), and keynote speaker Sandra Azocar, president of AUPE.

The outdoor Lunar New Year parade organized by the Chinatown BIA was cancelled this year due to cold weather, so all of the celebrations took place at the RAM on February 22. However, the BIA arranged for Lion Dance teams to bless businesses along 97th Street and area.
