My favorite coffee shop, which is dangerously close to my house! Nina's has been here for 21 years, because of home-like, community welcoming, warm atmosphere... and delicious offerings. A model establishment. I love working from here when I need a break from the office!
a vertical shot of a placid, cloudy day. on the left, a barren tree reaches up to the overcast sky. on the right, a boxy white food truck has parked with its little window propped open for business. you can just make out the word “pizza” in black curly lettering on the front of the truck. in the center of the photo, sitting squarely in the middle of a green bike lane, a rather large dog that resembles a golden retriever or great pyrenees is sitting patiently in profile, staring expectantly at the food truck’s window while basking in the glow of its lights.
This dog was spotted politely waiting by a pizza truck. He doesn’t have to say what he wants. They already know his order. It is pizza. 13/10 (IG: lauren.bardini)

It’s a sit-in-the-shade sort of day because it’s a scorcher. The crop is rippling in the breeze and my first sweet pea has blossomed. It’s so uplifting to just sit and enjoy the beauty and balm of nature.
Kids were all home today and we had a great Mother's Day! We went to a greenhouse for our garden, to vintage/thrift stores and had a wonderful early dinner at Moscow on the Hill. Heading to Sebastian Joe's soon for ice cream! I am so blessed and grateful... they are the meaning of joy and love!
Most people use a lens hood to manage glare and lens flare. I need mine to protect my lens from sheep and goats. 😆

Sugar the cat, standing in front of a dresser, very clearly with a lot on her mind.
Anyway, here's Sugar the cat contemplating the impermanence of life and the very nature of existence, as one does
Max the Cockapoo sits happily on a carpet while smiling. He is very floofy and overdue for a haircut, as evident by the hair partially covering his eyes. 2500+ people recently liked a photo of him, but he doesn't understand his own popularity on social media. He always wants treats and affection from new friends.
Max loves you and wants you to do something fun offline for several hours today.

Best Valentine's dates EVER!!!!
My favorite line: "They are pieces of soggy Wonder bread, reduced to attacking brilliance because it exposes their mediocrity. It’s just stupid to think some addled 78-year-old misogynist caked in orange is the peak of masculinity."
"..The real MVPs were the dancers, the choreographers, the costume designers, SZA, and Lamar. They created(...) cooperative political art. The Eagles won, and the Chiefs lost. But I’ll remember this as the night when Kendrick Lamar sent Donald Trump home."
#bookclub This is Hamlet, in case you were wondering. Also, the rest of you are now officially invited to send me photos of your pets reading my book. #mondaymotivation
