Over 50 years later, Marvin Gaye’s 1971“Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology)” was one of the first mainstream songs to directly address environmental pollution and ecological destruction. The song laments oil spills, radiation, and toxic waste & was revolutionary at the time. #Earthday
Systemic poverty is a type of multicultural genocide.
Think of all the gifted humans who could never reach their full potential because they had to scrape to survive every moment of their lives. Think of all the masterpieces of art and literature we are missing out on. Everyone loses out.
After 64 seasons on television the Food Network show ‘Chopped’ aired its first ever episode with all Native American contestants. I interviewed the winner Justin Pioche, a Diné chef that runs a kitchen with his mom and sister. nativenewsonline.net/arts-enterta...

Live Nation has raked in billions in profits from an illegal monopoly that coerces venues, restricts artists, and exploits fans.
This is a massive win in the fight for fairness for local venues, artists, and fans.
This is a good visualization for people to understand the problem we have on this planet.

She’s schooling folks how this actually works.
I do not and will never use GenAI in my writing. No, not even for grammar checks. Hell, I don’t even use oldschool referencing software – I still do my footnotes manually.
I LIKE writing.
