I live in the downtown core — the loss of the YMCA, the downtown police precinct, elimination of programs for the folks in my neighbourhood, defunding programs for the unhoused — hell, the city tried to shut down my fire hall. livewirecalgary.com/2020/11/19/c...

The economic geography of this also means older neighbourhoods with infrastructure will weaken as new burbs pop up with fresh homes.
It then requires new schools, fire stations, police, snow removal, garbage etc..
The societal costs ripple through.

So, I was helping a friend, and I needed to move a Workspace subscription from one account to another (it's attached to a #Bluehost account in question).

Bluehost's only way to resolve their system is to nuke the entire Google Workspace profile, delete every email and delete the drives.

I also flagged the dozens of unfilled Affordability Taskforce recommendations that this council is still sitting on their tufts on.

My frustration? My rent has gone up 33% and council is paralyzed.
