I played Umineko chapter 1:

- at the queer coffee shop (twice)
- at home (three times)
- at my home, tipsy (once)
- and then finally at home, sober

A lot of the first few hours genuinely feels like a slog but then it gets REALLY good. It's like the VN equivalent of grinding for a JRPG, I think.
