Occasionally I reread a classic that I loved and right now it's Love in the Time of Cholera and Marquez (and his translator Edith Grossman) have such a way with a startling sensory image. Just encountered: '... his entire being dishonored by the whorish perfume of the crows.' and like 5/5 no notes! There's a reason this is one of my top 5 favorite books!
