I sleep really well, but my brain does something weird. If I wake up at during the night, to turn over or use the bathroom, my brain plays a song, different one each night, occasionally two different ones. It's like it plays the song to stop me from starting to think about stuff, 1/2

Three lovely skeins ready for the shop. Hand dyed by the Fibre Faery, handspun by me. The first is a blend of merino, linen and silk, the middle one is Strichen Link, and the natural one is corriedale.

Finally got round to some spinning this week, with this beautiful hand dyed merino/silk/linen blend from The Fibre Fairy on Folksy.

I spin in the grease for rugs, but for normal yarn I scour it first. But sheepies can be dirty little devils and it takes a few goes just to get the dust, mud, and poop out before tackling the grease! I tend to buy fleece from local small holders and most don't use the chalk markers.

I wish more people would wash their sheep before sheering, it would make my job a whole lot easier

Just finished knittimg these wrist warmers in recycled yarn, cosy!
