It's good. I think it gets the nod for me over Guinness....and that's a high bar to clear.

In an age of creeping relativism, a universal moral law still exists.

Threatening to end an entire civilization of 90 million people in order to bend a nation’s conduct to your will is grossly morally wrong. It is evil. And we should say this loudly.

Both lovely whiskies. The YS is like a honeyed biscuit but the Bunna has more of a deep red fruit flavour that I enjoy.

Winner: Bunnahabhain

Not sure about rust. I'm into my sixth decade.

But I guarantee you've vastly more experience of the whiskey world than me!

That's just showing off 😂

Thank you, I repurposed a cork from WT 101 bottle.

Picked up a bit of advice early on in my whiskey journey to have spare corks to hand for such an eventuality.

I think the advice came from a Ralfy video.

Thanks for this. Decanted into another bottle, got the cork out of the original bottle and then put the whiskey back into the original - exactly as you suggested above. Thanks again.

My first cork breakage....

Two groups of thought - leave it as is as the broken cork in the bottle won't affect the taste or decant into another bottle.

Thoughts?

The Tayto crisps produced in Tandragee are far and away superior to the ones made in County Meath. It's not even close. My wife may disagree with me, but several rounds of counselling saw us through the 'Great Tayto Wars' early in our marriage (2006–2010)....

Look, I have nothing but sympathy for you on a day's travel from Hell. I also hope your poor back & neck is feeling better sooner rather than later. And yes, Belfast Grand Central Station is rather nice. I'm surprised we didn't feck that one up.

BUT...
