Good news! We have been making real progress on the background art - we now have around 30 rendered images completed and that is approximately 60 % of the total amount of unique background images. This is a rendering of the Doomsday Hotel. Enjoy!

I have been working on getting Rhubarb Lip Sync to work in Doomsday Valley and the results are looking great! Much better than a generic talking animation loop. The dialog interface has also gotten a face lift. #pointandclick #godotengine #devlog @rhubarblipsync.bsky.social

We have entered the next production phase and some of the artwork is being commissioned at last! This is a sketch of the lighthouse to visualize the progression between each step in the rendering process.

7 days left on the Kickstarter for Doomsday Valley!

2025 is here and we are trudging along with the demo for Doomsday Valley. Maya Harper is now walkable (barely) ingame and the placeholder artwork is slowly getting replaced by the real deal.
The script is being sent out to voice actors and as all devs here know, this is a big milestone.

Writing alpha dialogue for #doomsdayvalley a #pointandclick in development. It is a fun stage in #gamedev because you can write more or less anything, it will be rewritten, redacted and replaced anyway. Profanity? Check! Obscure references? Certainly! 🥳😆
