While it is encouraging to hear Uber agree that this treatment is reprehensible, they clearly need to consider additional measures to resolve this problem...as training and "special" labeling programs are not working.

A real honour to sit in solidarity with some wonderful advocates on CBC's The National last night. Reminder: service dogs are necessary accessibility tools and to deny someone a ride who requires one violates their rights as a disabled person.

Well it appears as though I’ve unintentionally conditioned my dog to believe that books mean it’s time to go outside. So, now, whenever I touch a book she loses her marbles, runs around the house and excitedly barks.
