@govpritzker.illinois.gov please protect your constituents from surge pricing. we should not be suffering because businesses/data processing centers need more energy, they should be making up the difference of the higher cost of energy as million-dollar corporations putting the strain on our grid.
we need better surge pricing laws in place. people can’t afford random increases like this. our bill doubled, we paid $140 per person. i’ve seen people with $500, $900 bills. who can afford their electric bill randomly jumping up double? esp when they claimed the increase wouldn’t be this high…
my girlfriend had a reasonable crashout about our energy bill going up over $150. apparently everyone’s energy bills have gone up almost double like this due to the strain on IL energy grid… #AmerenEnergy claimed it would be an up to 22% increase, $45 on average. it’s WAY over that for most of us.
kinda tired of commenting on shit and random bigots harrassing me completely unwarranted because they wanna bully a trans person. i even had an asshole earlier try to say that by merely existing as myself, i’m asking for bullying. NO ONE deserves harrassment and bullying (except maybe n*zis + p*dos)

being nonbinary is a very interectional experience and i wish more people understood how wide of a range of transphobia some of us face, and i wish it wasn’t pitted against or compared to other trans experiences.
please don’t be the person telling your nb friends they experience less transphobia than other ppl. all our experiences are different, and transphobia affects everyone. i’ve experienced transphobia for being nonbinary, and for being transmasc, aswell as being incorrectly percieved as a trans woman

our experiences as nonbinary people are intersectional and vary widely, and everyones is different. personally i am percieved as any/every gender by “the public”, and that brings a risk of transphobia and violence.

i come from a town that very much so over-warns/alerts us. i’ve always appreciated it. we get a lot of tornado watches/warnings that miss over and hit a county over, etc. but when there was actual flash flooding for multiple hours and should’ve been a thunderstorm warning, we got nothing
bad flash flooding in my town lastnight. drove thru multiple multi-inch flooded intersections to get home lastnight. it kept piling up and later on, peoples cars got flooded in multiple feet of water.
WE WERENT UNDER ANY KIND OF WEATHER WATCH OR WARNING. NOAA defunding is being felt and noticed.
as of now, seems like IL is safe for #plannedparenthood medicaid recipients
to make sure his next campaign flops in my town. he made it personal by trying to say this will help out central IL economically- 1/3 of whom are on medicaid. many of his constituents rely on rural clinics and hospitals that are now slated to be defunded and closed. not to even mention pp defunding
big ugly bill has passed- probably going to lose my health insurance unless our governor somehow steps up or the local job economy gets better/healthier and i’m able to find a second job/get more hours. not that i had any faith in my rep Darin LaHood, but now i’ll be doing everything in my power +
