Despite having almost no experience with fursuits or sewing, I've decided to try my hand at it anyway, starting by sewing a tail for myself. This is the result! It's a little rough, but i'm definitely happy with it. Made using a foam base from @cekaycat.bsky.social.

I've got some cool stuff planned in the near future. New types of tails, and a mystery super-material that might be a game changer for fursuit part production.
Holy cow, sometimes it pays to experiment. I just switched my filament brand to Sunlu High Speed TPU and sped up my tail production by 3-4x.
I've got it running flawlessly at 16mm^3/s 125mm/s, and I can probably go even higher. Crazy.

SteamVR with an Index worked pretty flawlessly out of the box on CachyOS. Never tried doing any Unity work though, so I can't attest to how easy that will be.

PETG tail belt loops printed at a 35 degree angle for strength and surface quality
Finally mastered the art of printing at an angle for better layer direction strength. My tail belt loops were strong enough already, but we over-engineer in this household.
Another international order today brought me to 16 countries I've shipped to so far, which equates to about 8% of the world. Thought that was pretty crazy.
