Feetpaws in the works!
Based on a RudeBird bird foot pattern on Etsy, I edited it to be indoor, reshaped the toes, and removed the back talon.
Still a big wip, but very happy with how these are coming out!

Finally, tangible progress on my fursuit!
There's still a lot of work to do on the base but I've already sewn up a few bits that can be attached later.

Shows the tail on my sewing table. The feathers don't stand when it's not against something (that's fine) but here I propped them on my machine. Took at an angle to show you all her details! Short blue fur on the bottom, long soft mint at the top, the bone gore base, and the feathers top center in the same size and colour orientation as the arms!
Shoes the up close of the base of the tail. The bone is grey minky. Some muscle in magenta. And the red used for the muscle layer I love making these applique details on suits!

Shows from the front, the top buttoned down over the pants portion this time. Super happy with how it all blends together! It's not perfect, but that's okay. It's my suit, it's an experiment, it uses non standard furs, and it's imperfectly perfect, because it's human made!
From the back view with it buttoned together. I absolutely love how this is looking so far. That back point doesn't last long (you'll see!) It's time to make and add the tail!
Another show of that smooth fit of the padded leg and body top transition. I really enjoy that this mostly just looks like a leg seam at the hips more than anything

The fit is super smooth looking and I'm super excited to get to wear this soon here!

Shoes the back view of the head and torso. These test fits are important to make sure things sit where they need to sit, and that patterns line up with markings. That's how we make parts blend in with each other so much!
Shows all the pretty feathers! There 14 here, 2 sets of 7 each with 1 blue, 2 purple, 2 magenta, 2 red. They are fanned with blue in the center and red on the outsides These will be placed in the arms!
First torso test fit and the feathers for the arms made!
Since I'm using lighter materials from the heavy usual furs (minus the blue on the body) this has more stretch than most bodies which allows for a pull over fit.
The grey/blue is a mochi minky and is very stretchy too!
