I aggressively ad-block in school but worry about pupils personal/home computers getting getting infected with adware or that they get sucked in to paying for worthless subscriptions.

Also poor are the number of “revision” sites that have scraped revision papers from exam board sites, uploaded these with the lowest quality ads/adware, with a subscription option for dubious tutoring, that are being suggested by teachers.

Our High has a policy of confiscated if seen during the school day. It is strictly enforced. The school is also in somewhat of a mobile black spot which also helps.

That’s a classroom control, not a pupil problem.

It seems OTT where an a phones out of sight all day policy generally works very well.

Great idea. There are logistical problems to overcome when the majority of pupils come to school on school buses and with the cost of additional lockers which will presumably be funded.

School bus passes are on the pupils’ phones. It’s a rural area where most pupils get a school bus. #r4today

Boris Johnson: PM tried to restrict ex-minister's access to intelligence Boris Johnson says it is

He had restricted security access going back to fears when he was London Mayor, because he was leaky. He had been sacked from multiple jobs for lying. This was all reported in the press, but for some reason, being 'Boris', the scrutiny never mattered. He still became PM

'Unthinkable' that Boris Johnson met ex-KGB agent Alexander Lebedev alone after Salisbury poisonings, Yvette Cooper says Shadow home secretary Yvette Cooper tells Sky News it was "irresponsible" and "unthinkable" that Mr Johnson, who was then foreign secretary, would have such an encounter without officials being presen...

He was allowed to become Foreign Sec, validated the people who’d warned he was a security risk at the Lebedev’s villa, yet still got to be PM & put Lebedev Jr. in the HoL against security advice.

The 🇬🇧 establishment is profoundly unserious about national security.

Did Jeffrey Epstein Design Everything Jared Kushner Is Building Right Now? The plans Epstein made in 2016 to restructure Saudi sovereign wealth outside the Western banking system seem to be running through Kushner's fund, Bessent's Treasury, and a war no one wants.

I’ve moved further to the left as I’ve got older, or maybe I’ve stood still and the general discourse has gone to the right?

#rhschelsea. I’m starting to lose interest in gardens that represent this that or the other, I just want to see good gardens and I think we are generally missing that compared to the designs of the 1990’s. I also want to see the work of professional designers, not celeb hangers on. 🌱
