As WHO Member States enter informal pandemic agreement negotiations before #INB13 resumes (April 7-11), members of The Panel for a Global Public Health Convention and the @theindpanel.bsky.social call for the "full use of the intersessional period to reach consensus on the outstanding issues."
The result of delayed action was a global health crisis that has led to some 28 million excess deaths, trillions in losses, and social and economic impacts that continue to affect us all.
