It was so great to escape for the weekend and make music with the European doctors orchestra. Now we have to go back to our normal family and medical lives.
Playing "The Music Makers" in the hall in which it premiered was quite a special thing.

There's some nice planting outside Birmingham Town Hall. It was built for a music festival and had the first ever performance of Elgar's Dream of Gerontius. He quotes it a lot in The Music Makers, which we are playing today.

I had exactly the same with our van. If they know what vehicle it is when booking (and you book a week in advance) surely they should order the tyre in when you book, rather than when they receive your vehicle to fix?
