Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! Here’s to everyone wishing you all this holiday season!
A CHRISTMAS CAROL
This night 26 years ago was the lowest point in my adult life. After six months in Sweden I had no job, no prospects and about three euro in my pocket. I didn't want to be here any more.
In truth, I didn't want to be anywhere any more.
I was a total failure.
A match made in heaven. Here is an animated film that I did for animation class in ATU Letterkenny. I did the animation, direction, sound effects, backgrounds, and provided the voice of the Lonely Matchstick. Enjoy…

France predominantly allocates fishing opportunities to its fleet based on past catch history, largely disregarding social & environmental criteria.
This is something also seen in Ireland with small scale vessels not recieving a fair share @iimro.bsky.social

Happy Summer Solstice everybody!!!

As cod & ling, that used to populate British waters, migrate north to cooler waters, a large - and normally rare - type of octopus is being caught by fishermen in Devon and Cornwall in enormous numbers. Even tuna & shark.
So what's going on?
Climate change & overfishing
