This isn't a critique, just prompted thought:

I just saw a post on the Titanic tagged as 'history' as opposed to 'maritime history', and it got me thinking.

When is the maritime history #history but not #maritimehistory?

When have you seen this in your field #skystorians - events, things, etc?

0 0 1 1

Keep on doing/reading/learning #NavalHistory, #MaritimeHistory, #CoastalHistory and #PirateHistory - or any other type of history. History is hugely important (and incredibly interesting) and if more people understood the past there is no question the present would be better off.
