That's a really nice pairing of yarn and pattern! Gorgeous.

A child’s handwriting in pink chalk on the sidewalk: “FLOWERS ARE LOWKEY Kinda FIRE”
A new generation of poets rises, inspired by the same springtime that roused Dickinson and Shakespeare. A torch, passed.
They were clearly afraid to come forward and it took a couple of people working really hard to assure them that they were not alone and that they could come forward and have support, and then a bunch of people immediately started to do all the shit they were afraid of.
Earth and Moon from DSCOVR NASA's Earth Polychromatic Imaging Camera (EPIC) aboard the Deep Space Climate Observatory (DSCOVR) satellite captured this unique view of the Moon as it moved in front of the sunlit side of Earth last month. This view shows the fully illuminated “dark side” of the moon that is never visible from Earth. Ian Regan processed this version of the image to account for the Moon's motion. NASA / NOAA / Ian Regan
I hadn't seen this before. This is pretty remarkable.

I once went to a house where there were portraits of the wife in the main rooms downstairs and then when you went upstairs to the bathroom, BAM! Full on nude at the top of the stairs.
I really enjoyed how much you and Mike were enjoying talking about how hilarious this season is.
A rose pink sock with a delicate faux cable pattern. It is on a sock blocker and there is a menacing black pawn touching the top of the sock.
I have not knit a pair of socks for a year! Might be time to do another pair. These are Hibernal Socks I knit for my sister-in-law in mohair sock yarn from Whistlebare farms. Such a gorgeous colour. #ShowMeYourKnits
OMFG these guys who see a "gap" on wikipedia and then decide they are the one to fill it. Every damn time. At least the guy who translated pages in to Anglish did his own work.
I am so sorry you are living in this exile. As a parent of a trans person, not even in the US, I see them struggling with all of the anti-trans rhetoric, and at least I can be present and supportive, and we live in a place where we have connections. I want to be every trans person's mom some days.
Such a great example of refreshing a knit so that you wear it again! Gorgeous.
Goats and alt-text goals. What's not to love?
His bouncy friend distracting him too much! He can't help it.
Georgette Heyer invented the Regency Romance genre, but I am not sure if "historically accurate detail" is a reinvention since apart from the setting she didn't change the parameters of the romance genre in any other way.
A cream sweater with an all over texture. There are horizontal lines here and there that make it look a bit like writing on paper or striations on a glacier
So close to finished! This Jokull sweater uses stranded colourwork in an unexpected way. #ShowMeYourKnits
I can remember getting into endless arguments about the first couple of books when they came out and before it was super duper popular because of my "Diana Wynne Jones is so much better" position.
Eh, mostly I do, but if I don't, I am happy to provide information to anyone who asks nicely.
It's not actually cables, it's a daisy stitch! I think it makes a really cute detail, though.
A short sleeved v-neck knitted sweater in grass green. It has a mock cable detail down the front.
My favourite recent green knit is this summer knit in Sandesgarn Line. I finished it last year, and I cannot wait for it to be warm enough to wear it again. #ShowMeYourKnits
I love that pattern and your colour is perfect!
Oh, that's gorgeous!
A blanket made up of knitted squares. Each square is made of a sky blue triangle with another colour. It has an overall harmony created by the repeated blue
Just finished blocking - a sweet shop blanket, and I am super pleased with how it came out! #ShowMeYourKnits
Just play a little animal crossing and cosy up in your soul.
I did their stupid "how should the government encourage AI" survey when it was open to the public, and all my answers were just "stop asking about how to make more money and focus on safety".
A black cat curled up on a cream sweater that is pinned out with blocking pins. He cares not that the sweater is still quite damp. When he gets up, he will smell of wool wash.
My cats are always very involved in my knitting. You can see how helpful Mr Knightley was with the mid-project block of this Jökull sweater earlier this week. #ShowMeYourKnits #Caturday
I am more and more convinced that when cis people want to debate whether trans people get human rights, the only correct response is "I don't treat whether or not people get human rights as a debate topic or hang around people who do" followed by leaving.
I remember how Denise Biellmann was "bad" at figures, and everyone would get super mad because her long program was always so great but she never scored high enough to win. I think about her because now pretty much everyone does her "special" spin that no one else could do back then.
A person standing under a cherry blossom tree wearing a sweater that is the same colour as the blossom
A pink knitted chicken in a cherry blossom tree. The chciken has a hot pink comb and wattle, and some purple stripes on its body
I love a chance to revisit the pinkest things I ever made! #ShowMeYourKnits.
If you don't have to cast on at least 3 times for various reasons, have you really earned the WIP?
Nitro is also their main source of funding btw.
you know what to do
