Do you know anywhere else they might be? I’ve seen one in Nelson two years ago. One at Penderyn last year. They seem thinly distributed

Near Fernhill. Looking back at the video I think there’s only 1. Third time I’ve seen one there and it seems alone each time.

At least one willow tit found at this Cynon valley site in south wales. I think I see a second in this clip? Found in an area of very wet marsh/willow carr, with mature woodland and shrub in the vicinity.

1 willow tit found near the lake near Garwnant south Wales today. Locally this seems a stronghold going by recent records. This one was calling quietly in some mixed woodland of oak, willow and pine close to the lakes edge.

Thanks, that makes sense, I completely understand the need to keep these locations private. It’s encouraging to hear they’re still holding on in Carmarthenshire though. Appreciate you sharing what you can

Great news to find some in this area. I’ve only managed to find three individuals but all on separate sites. Where did you find this one out of interest?

It was good to reconnect with a willow tit (assuming same individual) from two years ago at this site (Cynon valley S.Wales) I’m hoping there’s a pair but I fear this is the last one here. It was quickly moved along by a GT. do pairs stick close together in January? #willowtit #glambirds

Do I have a Marsh tit at the beginning of this clip? I think I hear a ‘pitchu’?
