Art class should never stop being a thing. Like if right after lunch we all got to go down to the basement for an hour, throw on a smock, and make collages out of old magazines while somebody's eccentric, slightly witchy aunt tells us how great we're doing, I feel like we'd all be in a better place.
Last fall’s sugar maple leaf is bleached white and decayed to tissue thinness. It lies on a bare log, plastered in place by the weight of snow, long ago melted. All photos by me
