The sweater and your eyes really interact in the photo - I think because of the colors. It's an interesting image. Great knitting too!

Today's technical experiment with linen and cotton. Three layers of the heavy linen stitched together to make one cloth. Stitching is still in progress. This will be used in the kitchen to see how it holds up.

It's hard to say without knowing where you are. In most towns or cities in the US there are groups for learning to knit that are started by various kinds of organizations. Yarn shops start them frequently as well as libraries or arts organizations and senior centers.

Yeeesssss! You are doing such lovely work! My region only has buses for public transport by I like nothing better than to get out my needlework. It's not always knitting.

I crocheted one for my glasses using recycled silk sari ribbon. It's somewhat like a square basket. I use it every day and it's wonderful for glasses. I hope yours works as well.
