While not unscathed, as the bandage on Timmy's left arm attests, they couldn't be happier. Life can return to a sense of ease and Timmy's demeanor and look reflects that. (It's why they're in their more cartoon like style.) 4. Even in our darkest times, there can be hope. We may not always return from strife with those we wish we could've, but we persevere onwards in their memory. When we're lucky enough to return with our loved ones, we take them up in our arms and celebrate our continued existence. Never give up Helldivers. The world is worth fighting for. A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. Focused on their phone, a Being holds up a take out bag from a restaurant. "Aight," they say to grab the attention of a second Being. "Delivery fella dropped your order off. Here." From beyond our view, the second Being offers, "Thanks." 2. Not even a couple of seconds later, our distracted Being frees themself of their phone's grip and looks at their companion. Hoping to snag a bite of deep fried goodness they say, "You'll save your bud a few pieces rig-" 3. The Being stops mid sentence when the reality of the scene before them sinks in. Our second Being has already made a whirlwind of the bag's contents. Drink? Drank. Nuggets? Devoured. Fries? Inhaled in before the empty bag hit the floor. A shocked face plasters the Being's face as they know they've been caught crumb faced. 4. Disappointment sets in to our first Being's face and they bluntly say, "Damn Bro. Not even the Bibble speaks of gluttony this bad."

The current player's token passes around the edge of the board set against a delightful skybox of a city skyline. 2. Jolting out from behind a building comes a hand! It halts the car's progress right in front of a grand hotel! The car panics and slides to a stop. It gazes at the price to rent the hotel and reels back! It's more than a grand!!! 3. Collapsing upside down, the car bids this mortal coil a farewell. Up goes its spirit past the hotel and off into motor vehicle heaven. Status? Bankruptcy. 4. Returning to the real world, a Being shoots up from their seating position with a, "YAHOOOO!" To their side are their spoils from the game. Stacks of currency and several treasures in addition. The other players are all in various states of not winning. Directly across from the winner, the Being sits disgruntled at losing again but the same cannot be said for the Being on the right who simply scrolls away on their phone. Lastly, the Being on the left sweats away, desperate to find a way to pull a miracle into existence.

The paws came out great! Be proud of 'em

A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. Up and over goes a now empty box carelessly tossed over a Being's shoulder. Moments earlier, they sent a book flying off to their left. In muttered complaints, the Being curses, "Damn.... Where is it?" 2. All of a sudden they procure a USB drive and hold it in their right hand. "Got it!" is all they say. 3. Out comes the Being's laptop and in goes the USB drive. Screen open and the Being's ready. "ALRIGHT! Time to understand the secrets of this universe!" Our Being's goal is revealed, but is that info really on a random USB drive from the middle of nowhere? 4. An unseen pop precludes the scene before us. From the top of the laptop spews a putrid column of smoke. The back air vents? Leaking small trails to the sky. A stunned and distraught Being can only look down at their poor laptop. Thoughts including grief and frustration run through our Being's mind and even barely manifest in the world. Lesson to all Beings: don't boot up random USB sticks.

Two possibilities. The omnipotent knowledge on the flash drive was too much for the poor unthinking PC, or our Being really is just a klutz plugging in a random USB into their PC.

It gets stuck when passing through the gap👿

A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. "gle3op! #orp," stutters out an inconceivable creature. Turning to face the 4th Dimensional creature, our Being sternly questions: "What? You're hungry!? Didn't you eat 20 min. ago?" 2. Unwavering, the creature pressures the Being. Relenting, they say, "Fine. Let's see here..." A laptop opens up and the Being's hands pound in a search query into the AWFUL search engine. Ask "How to feed a pet?" and 10,000,000+ results pop up, of which several thousand are displayed in sequence. "Wow," the Being remarks, "horribly unspecific." 3. Narrowing down the search to, "How to feed a pet 4D Being?" results in absolutely zilch. AWFUL presents 0 results and proudly underneath it, "lol good luck idiot". Our Being can only respond with, "Wow! Okay. Rude." 4. "Look," our Being opens as they turn to their left to address the 4D creature, "couldn't you just tell me what you want to eat?" Disgruntled noises of incomprehensibility is all that comes out of the creatures... mouth? Looks like it's weird takeout orders again today.

You mean our premium W#X$!s4hY5(-3 headphones?" they ask. The company REALLY needs to work on the product naming division morale. 4. The poor customer Being simply gawks back with an expression made of mixed confusion and disgust. A simple, "w h a t" is all that escapes their mouth.

A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. It's been an incredibly long road to see this mission through. One of the final steps is taken as Timmy John Helldiver sets foot onto the extraction platform. They gaze out across the platform. 2. It's clear and free of hostiles. Only the stars are there to accompany the sight of the extraction beacon. It casts its heavenly blue glow skywards and awaits interaction to communicate Timmy's readiness to extract. 3. The glow from the emitter at the top of the beacon stack amplifies and shines a brighter blue. Extraction is called. Seconds tick down and the end of the mission draws closer and closer. This is it. 4. Countdown strikes zero. As the assembly sinks into its Hellpod, the sound of approaching jet engines can be heard. From their insertion trajectory high above comes Pelican-1. Circling the platform and readying engines for touchdown, they radio out to Timmy. "Pelican-1. Ready for VTO. ... Good to see you, Helldiver." Cape flapping in the jet engine stirred wind, Timmy holds Junior's pod. The two look on. The journey ends here. Time to go home.

Trembling racks the Being's body as their breathing in stops and their screaming begins. It's a screaming we can't hear, but the anguish and power across their face tells volumes of their lung capacity. 3. From behind the window pane of Observation Deck 2501, one scientist Being turns to the other. "Should we worry about their rage?" the first asks with a slight tremor to their question. Unbothered, the second scientist simply says, "Not at all! I'm sure it's under contro-" 4. Too much faith was had that day. Explosive release of energy is catastrophic.

A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. The sun! It bathes our Being in deliciously warm light. Arms spread out, accepting the rays, our Being says, "Ah the joys of feeling the sun on your skin." 2. Recognizing they've spent an hour in the sun and being lazy, Being says, "Ah well.. Better go inside before I burn." Sunburns are no joke, but uh... Damn. Something is wrong with our Being's eyes. 3. Cracking their front door and beginning to step inside, this is what the Being says, "Alright... Time to get some work do-" They're cut off as they look up into the room. I bet it has something to do with the fact their eyes are smoldering and that's DEF not supposed to happen. 4. The room is dark. "oh. shoot," our Being says as this sinks in. Those eyes are enjoying the full brilliant power of the sun. "I'm blind now," worries our Being.

After pupil adjustment, our Being was happy to discover they were in fact fine. Turns out staring at bright objects that *reflect* the sun is equally painful to the retina.

A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. Wading through a fugue state, our Being comes to the abrupt realization that they're exhausted. "Guuuh So tired..." they confirm verbally. The dark circles under their eyes helps. 2. Making their way over to their bed, the Being pulls up the blankets and prepares to slip in. With one leg in, they say, "Surely a brief closing of the eyes will help." 3. Lying their head back and closing their eyes, the Being begins to drift. Danger of sleep is on the horizon, but they're not aware! "Just a... short...... closing of the eyes..." are the final words they utter before the wistful lands of slumber claim the Being. 4. Startling up in the darkness, our Being blinks their eyes. "oh Shoot. I feel asleep."
