A mouth opens on the creature's face and the vacant sunken pits adjust slightly to hold their Captain in gaze. "I HAVE NO THOUGHTS," speaks the null Being. "I HAVE NO WILL. I HAVE NO OPINION TO EXPRESS." If a voice could ever reverberate inside someone's skull, it'd be this one. "I DO NOT DESIRE FREEDOM OF CHOICE. YOU CAPTAIN THIS SHIP," firmly states the null. 4. Turning back and grabbing the controls, our Captain lets out a 'tsk!' and glances away from the null Being. "It wouldn't kill you to pull your weight around here..." mutters the Captain under their breath. Something tells me I don't want an emotionless shell of a Being to pilot my craft.

They're carrying a sheet of paper and call out to the Being waiting in the room, "Oi! today's idea delivery!" The Being turns to greet them. 2. Taking the paper in their hands to inspect the day's idea, the Being just gawks for a moment. "uh... thanks, Brain," they begin after getting over their confusion at the blank paper in their hands. "Is there more to this?" The brain stares back for a moment of silent hesitation before saying, "yep!" 3. All of a sudden, Brain's body freezes up... and then starts to vibrate intensely. One can almost hear the 'VRRRRR'. Simultaneously, an Idea Meter shows up and displays concerning levels of idea-ness. Suddenly worried, the Being steps forward and tries to get the Brain to stop; "uh oh, Wait!" 4. But, in an instant the Brain stops vibrating and proudly produces another paper. "here you go!" they say. Their joyous smile sporting a little more brain-fried-drool than before. The paper is still blank and the Being can only scratch the back of their neck absentmindedly and whisper, "thanks."

God help us all. "Yeah I know, right?" says the Being before sticking a finger in the crook of their mouth to open it wide. Erupting into the sky is the light code it casts up to the Super Destroyer high above the immediate action. That beam is what will make the mission possible and it cuts against the setting sun. 2. Thundering through the atmosphere comes down a Hellpod. Fired just moments before from the underbelly of the Destroyer looming above, the pod deploys its fins and fires its retro thrusters to ensure a stable landing. 3. Tunneled into the earth, the pod lifts its payload up for immediate Helldiver access. The contents? A NUX-223 Hellbomb. One of Freedom's greatest inventions and now with the task of destroying Automaton Fuel Silos. 4. Having watched from afar, Timmy John Helldiver steps up to the pod and briefly inspects it for damage. Satisfied it's in working condition, they bend over the pad attached to the bomb and begin to thumb the code in. In mere moments the action lock arms will release and the Automatons will enjoy a devastating setback.

Surprise settles into an uncomfortable open mouth smile as the presenter looks on. Where once there were three adorable puppies, there now are four... With one suspiciously Being shaped. They're even sporting a collar and, are those ears real? 4. Sweat begins to drop down the presenter's face as their whole demeanor falls apart. How do you respond to this? Do you give them pets? Inquire? Meanwhile, the "puppy" just sits there with their tongue hanging out delightedly. Had a horrible thought while drawing this to make the following joke. "HOLY MOLY It's famous artist IDrawButtsALOT!" the adoring fan Being shouts. Our artist startles. 3. In a defensive pose, the artist slowly turns to look at the fan behind them. If the shirt wasn't a dead giveaway, the booty cheeks probably would've given away this artist's identity. 4. And the artist is off to the races! They're not staying a moment longer! As the fan is left in a cloud of dust, they call out: "WAIT! I just wanted an autograph..."

The smoldering abyss where its eye once was, simply pops and fizzles. Smoke dances to the sky. 2. Timmy John Helldiver doesn't move for a moment. The adrenaline needs to wear off and the situation compartmentalized for later trauma. But the moment doesn't last long. Snow flakes off Timmy's armor as the Helldiver gets up in a crouch. They examine the Scorcher from afar and confirm its inertness. Junior, still in their holding device, glurps out a few 'Blub!'s in acknowledgment of Timmy's success against the fiend. 3. A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. Terrence sits at a cafeteria bench and is approached by a Being holding two boxes. Handing one over, the Being introduces their lunch, "Here Terrence. Not glamorous, but it hits the spot for campus food." In turn, Terrence offers up a simple, "Thanks." 2. Cracking open the container, Terrence begins to eat. But... well. It's definitely not how Beings normally go about it. Terrence opens their mouth, which you may not have even known was there, and begins to inhale the food. A 'Woooosh' can almost be heard as the food goes from box to digestive system. 3. The view pulls back and, well, Terrence looks disheartened. For being a creature of an unknown dimension, even Terrence knows there's better food to be had than this. They're oblivious to the expression on their friends face as the Being sitting next to them is utterly flabbergasted they just ate their lunch like that. 4. Terrence turns to their right and looks at their Being friend. After a second, they ask, "You eat this on the regular...?" It's not hard to pick up on the fact that Terrence is disappointed on the Being's dietary choices. Further stunned, the Being blinks before saying, "THAT'S the takeaway for today's comic?!" Oh weird. These two have knowledge of their dimension.

A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. As the smoke clears from Eagle-1's support, Timmy John Helldiver slides to a stop behind the Scorcher. The only opportunity Timmy might get, they swing their AR-23 up into hip firing position and squeeze of a 'BRRRT' into the Hulk's cooling vents. Pops and hisses reach Timmy's ears as the cooling structures are damaged. 2. Yet, it's not enough. Before Timmy can completely destroy the cooling vents, the Scorcher wheels on its mechanical struts and begins to charge. The nozzle at the front of the beast's launcher begins to spill a small trail of fire with a 'FSSSH' as the weapon warms up to spray a deadly burst. 3. With no immediate options left, Timmy lets their Liberator fall and pushes themself off the ground and backwards from their last standing position. From their right thigh comes their Senator, lining up to take one lucky shot. Sights trained and the milliseconds running out, Timmy squeezes the trigger. 'CHK!' 4. 'KSHCRACK' The 12mm bullet leaves the barrel and meets the glass eye shield protecting the Scorcher's optics. Piercing through, nothing gets in the way of Timmy's shot. Through metal, CPU, and out through cooling vents... Time almost stands still. Timmy and Junior hang in the air. A small burst of fire from the Hulk's nozzle peters out. The shot is good. A charging beast is stilled.

The Being reaches out their arms gingerly and whispers, "Woah, easy..." 2. Managing to bridge the distance, the Being bends down and pats the head of the glyphid. Instantly the magic begins to work and a pleased 'CRUOW' slips out of the bug's mouth. 3. Glyphid unnamed no more, we are now introduced to Steve! The mining group's newest responsibility. The Being stands up slightly and leans over to whisper, "Welcome to the team, Buddy," to the Glyphid. A happy 'CRUOK' chirp follows. 4. Annnnd not a moment later, one of the other miners steps over and unloads a magazine into Steve. The bullets don't do anything, thanks to friendly fire protections, but Steve still growls out an unhappy , 'GRRUO'. "Dude," calls out our first Being, "I JUST tamed Steve." Wincing at their failure to remember, our newcomer and bug liability apologizes: "Sorry... force of habit."

A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. A Being and friend boot up a new dungeon crawler and are choosing their weapons for their first run. Our Being holds aloft a lovely bow and a handful of arrows and excitedly exclaims, "This bow is awesome!" Turning to their friend, they ask, "What are you trying?" 2. With an unsure shrug, the Friend just shows off the basic sword. "Eh... I might try sword. It seems fun," they say and the two head off. 3. Following the run's conclusion, our now converted Sword Friend lists off their spoils: "Damn this is great! I got a hammer & a mace & shards &..." The spoils prattled off, they decide to share and ask, "Want to try any of it?" and turn to face their friend. 4. What looks back is a guarded Being who holds their bow and arrows close. They're.... also hoarding arrows. "why would I leave bow...?" they ask slowly. "bow..." they slowly make out, "is good... to me..." Hmmm. I hope they're okay.

A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. "Hey d'ya get today's comic done?" says a Being leaning in from the edge of the panel. The Author looks startled. 2. With a grimace, the Author turns and faces the viewer. "Heeey... So..." they open bashfully. "I forgot to plan today's comic out AND I have a lot to do..." Ah the problem arises, but surely it doesn't need drastic measures, right? I mean our Author Being still looks normal. 3. Oh wait.... Are their polygons decreasing? Our Being begins proposing their solution: "So, you'll forgive me if things look slightly simpler," 4. It's taken its toll. Our Being is now a Stick Being! Gasp. They finish their previous question with a simple, "right?"

A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. Coming in with a stack of pizza boxes, our Being makes a line for a table to set them all down. "PIZZA'S HERE!" they shout over their shoulder. 2. As the Being's companion makes their way over, the Pizza Herald ducks their head into the fridge to rummage around. They call out, "Hey! You want anything to drink?" 3. Not getting a response, the Being peeks back up and is aghast to see all four of the pizza boxes are now empty and discarded. An incredulous, "WHAT THE HELL?" is all they can get out. 4. The criminal is caught in the act. Our first Being's companion is now dropping the last piece of pepperoni and olive pizza into their mouth. "You're not even saving me a piece?!" Our pizza bringer is simply flabbergasted.
