When viewed from the front, the crest tapers from the top of the bird's head into a conical shape with a sharp tip. In this case, the cardinal has its crest lowered to rest on the top of its head.

You know what. I think we should bring back bags of sand as the superior alternative to dumbbells for home workouts.
...And in turn, make really comfy soft squishy heavy bean-bags of various sizes; once the initial glut of "manly-man" gunmetal-leather weight bags become passé.
