We spent our Father’s Day Saturday bringing the fun to the Saturday Dads & Kids Play gaming event @ Dad Guild in Burlington!

Tonight begins the end (for now).

From 5pm-Midnight, $10 gets you in for all night play on the largest collection of fighting games in the American northeast.

The dojo closes its doors for good on 6/30, so tonight & next Wed. (6/18) are your final days to slap buttons with us (for now).

All things are bound to change; we, as fighting game players, know that you have to adapt to change to meet the challenges in front of you.

Our mission remains, although the shape it takes may change as a result.

Stick with us. We ain’t done yet. It’s only over when you give up, and we don’t quit.

I get to teach kids life lessons and skills through learning how to play fighting games. That’s what I get to do for a job. I love my life.

In March 2023, our org’s CEO opened an afterschool program, one that pairs soft skills and technical skills to create a holistic experience for kids where they learn through gaming, not just learning how to game. A mentorship center that uses learning fighting games as a roadmap for personal growth.

How my life would have been so different if stuff like this was embraced 20 yrs ago
