“Cult” in a word!

It’s very good, very silly. I am mainly in love with it because it’s the sort of insane thing that makes no sense to commission, that it makes no sense for the talent involved to do, and is executed superbly and just very fun!
I saw his special riff off of Sesame Street 3 days ago, “the sack lunch bunch” on Netflix, and it was phenomenal. Absolutely mad. Very envious!
There’s only one team in Fulham. 🤍🖤🤍
No e-bikes on the underground going well tonight at Baker Street…
I would love to put my thoughts about that match into a coherent thread but, I’m fried. The basic takeaway has to be: you can’t ship 5 and expect anything, but to try - and come as close we did - is positive given our tendency to roll over and die. Got to build on the spirit. Have to. Must.
Ah yes, let’s bring off our best full back for 1:1 defending for the one who stands off a man indefinitely to give them a 4th. Just what we need when we’ve shrunk the deficit by 1, and need to build something
Much needed three points. Really should have been able to score more than one, but a great clean sheet. Chukwueze needs more minutes, what a player!
Frustrating half, I feel if Wilson had taken his chances we’d be in good stead. But we love throwing away leads so maybe not the worst thing? That said, I can’t see us having another good 30 like that as the game progresses. #FULARS #alwayslaughatusingthathashtag
Feels like the next few years are going to be scary, but also so, so stupid
I love that in goal of the month listing on the Fulham website they have listed “King vs Chelsea”. We all know it was one, so treat it as one. Completely agree with that decision, and what a goal it was.
Reiss Nelson to Brentford. Good news for Fabio Carvalho; he can share the boos. Bad for us that we’ll have a few of theirs riled up (maybe). Here’s to hoping Wilson’s head hasn’t been turned such that he doesn’t show up and put Brentford in their place (somewhere under a flyover, bus pass in hand).
@jonoffc.bsky.social in my head they had/have two ways out. Win something and challenge, and make money. Or failure, and pull a fast one to get something back. I can’t see them persisting through bad times again if they come. They need to do more to avoid the latter. Also, Ali Mac out. Could help!!!
I think they’re already bored. I think they’re sleepwalking now and have no appetite to do a rescue job if we go down, but will pull a fast one to recoup some cash if things get hairy. That’s my real worry. They’re not fans, they’re not bottomless benefactors. Maybe some jaguars fans can calm me. 🤷🏻♂️
I think you’re having, and probably need, to be fair, a transitional year. Bit of Europe and consolidation - especially following the Isak saga. I look forward to the atmospheres for your games with Liverpool this season - 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Because when the stand is done - they have their chip. No appetite for bothering to renovate Putney or hammy ends. Year of income to show off stand revenue on accounts - opportunity to detach it from club (sell one stand and lease back to us). I see them selling us down the river, literally 2/2.
I’d like the Khan circus to end before all of the other stuff happens (because that would be the best situation) but I think you’re right - I see it happening. Managerial change end of the year - fine this season - we crumple next year or the year after. My guess is Khan’s sell next 12-24 months 1/2
I should add @hugogordon.bsky.social it doesn’t sound like cope as you’re not title challenging this year (if you’ll excuse me, I’ll just hide behind my chair now before you throw that water bottle at me 😅)
And this is my problem. Fans are tired and broke. Marco Silva has been stretched more than ever in his career and given the latest backing for anything bar a January window. And that was nothing. This compounds. We are vulnerable to injuries and AFCON, it will hurt us. Pattern needs to end. 2/2
Well, Fulham’s transfer window as, has ever, wasted at least 3 games of potential impact (and lost points from the first two; last game out we could have had 7 shots in the net and lost thanks to officiating). Underwhelming window. Depth barely addressed. Moreover, so much goodwill evaporated 1/2
You need to watch your Achilles heel. There’s a reason it’s such a long lasting cultural touchstone…
Fulham captain Anthony Robinson on Instagram.
But my point is that squad depth is about more than numbers. It’s about the manager’s leadership, tactics, coaching, the individuals themselves. Fight. Culture. Reliability (looking at you, Andre Onana).
It’s the result that matters, ultimately. Also makes me think - despite our smaller squad, I trust all of those who don’t start regularly for us much more than Amorim can trust beyond Fernandes and… hmm. Errr, I was going to write more names there…
You’ll have to share the IV with me on this one, thankfully there’s plenty to go around tonight though
And again now! 😂
Grimsby ole ole oleeeee
Reminds me of the single league draw we had in the 11-12 3rds season. Stonewall penalty for a foul on Dobrev, absolutely missed. Terrible injustice.
It’ll be like clockwork (except that we didn’t for a whole season…)
