So cool!!
Thank you, Yann!!
*and innovate!! Long day :)
Really honoured to be a part of this cohort!! This is such a unique award that helps early career faculty enhance their research programs but innovate in teaching and learning!
Congratulations to Dr. Takamasa Momose, who, alongside Susumu Kuma has been selected as a Top 10 Breakthrough of 2025 by @physicsworld.bsky.social for his work with observing the superfluid phase in molecular hydrogen for the first time.

I will be hiring a PhD student (start date Fall 2026) to perform experimental research on the role of interstellar dust and ice in the formation and survival of molecules in space π«. Apply online before Dec 1st www.grad.ubc.ca/prospective-...
Super proud of these awesome students (and other helpers) who developed and ran some cool astrochemistry experiments this week at @triumflab.bsky.social β¨
I used Preply to practice French conversation and found it really good! Otherwise you could check out Alliance Française.

You know what? Buy yourself those books you want. You deserve it.
I wanted to delete this but the fact that it's not a coherent sentence perfectly reflects how tired I am π
En route to San Diego for #ACSSpring2025. Iβm looking forward to attending my first Committee on Economic and Professional Affairs (CEPA) meeting tomorrow. Iβm also giving a presentation in the Astrochemistry Symposium in honor of Eric Herbst on Tuesday at 11 AM βΊοΈ
Thank you @brandt-gaches.space !!
I'm gathering examples of effective plots and infographics (particularly scientific concept diagrams) for a project in my course. Please send suggestions!!
I don't know how I missed this one but it's great too! I noticed you are missing an H on your methanol. Love the concept and design.
Awesome! I'm doing a project in my class involving infographics. Can I use this one as an example?
This is really neat!! Get rid of those serif fonts though.
Photograph of the VLA telescope array. The silhouettes of the dishes can be seen against a colorful sunset sky.

Was great to meet you! Looking forward to more discussions in the future!
Show us a spectrum!!! How broad is the band? C-H stretches for many molecules fall in that region.
A black background is filled with pinpoints of light, which are distant galaxies, in different shades of red, orange, and blue. In the foreground and taking up most of the image are blue, smoky, translucent wisps. They begin at bottom left and make their way through the center before going out toward the top. On the left top side, some of the wisps are orange and white. Below them are four bright points of light, which are stars. Three are orange, and the one at far left appears orange-white. The stars have Webbβs signature 8-point diffraction spikes, which are also orange.
#NASAWebbβs sensitive instruments are helping researchers make significant strides in analyzing molecular cloudsβ super cold environments where stars form.
One to note are the deep, cold ices found in Chamaeleon I.
