When we stripped the altars in @stdavidscathedral.bsky.social for Good Friday, five previously unoticed crosses were spotted on altar stone in current Trinity Chapel. They probably pre-date the current cathedral, which was started in 1180s.

I spot my favourite 1588 Welsh Bible! Given to Westminster Abbey Library by Rev William Morgan at the end of its printing which Morgan oversaw, while staying with his Welsh friend Gabriel Goodman, Dean of Westminster.

William Morgan wanted this one to be kept on the shelves of Westminster Abbey Library, in addition to all the ones around churches across Wales. Those have all been well used. The Abbey Library copy is in better condition & survived well ... as William Morgan seems to have intended.
