Instead of taking the bus home this morning, I hiked across Mount Tabor to feel my body and see big trees. Some of the moments that felt beautiful or notable were photographed to make the feeling easier to remember later.

Thought by now I'd be done living with her, I'd have autonomy again, I'd have space to consider my future. But I still don't. There's been little to no accountability. I've been so quiet about how she's treated me and everything I put up with. I've been protecting her reputation to my own detriment.

Life has been brutal lately. End of May my spouse of 12 years abruptly ended our relationship without any warning. Agonizingly, we are still living together as she lacks the skills to safely/cordially navigate separation. I'm trying to hold some semblance of hope but it feels impossible most days.

Controversial take but I'm probably in favor of Muskolini forming his own political party. We have seen how green and independent voters have broken up cohesion in the democratic party for close elections. Anything with potential to dilute the power of the fundamentalist right is a good thing.

Incredible news for trans people - the Medicaid provision is out of the Trump horror bill. It did not require a point of order vote, and instead, Republicans pulled it out on their own, likely knowing they would lose the vote.

Update: It took the neighbors at least 15 minutes after I noticed the crows already into the food to finally come out and retrieve it. I have so many questions. Mainly, who leaves their doordash sitting outside that long? In a neighborhood that has crows, racoons, and coyotes daily? And it's rainy?
