@muppetwiki.com @kermitment.com Doing a Faffner Hall watch-along on Tubi (we'll suffer together!) and found that one of the episode descriptions is just the first sentence of the synopsis straight from the Wiki itself!
Seriously, Tubi is a gift, but this got a chuckle out of me.

(2/2) Also, the irony of an environmental film being produced by Amazon will not be lost on people. There's a lot more they can be doing to help the world than half-heartedly remaking a "save the rainforest" movie for a 'member berries harvest.
Obviously not happy with the #Ferngully remake news. The OG film has such a great early 90's identity (Crysta's hair, the music choices, Robin Williams, etc). Meanwhile, movies today can't get basic lighting to look nice. How will they even capture the rainforest's beauty?
So the Disneyland x Chicken of the Sea Pirate Ship Restaurant had their own PAPER NAPKINS 🎣 🏴☠️ 🌊
A red and white can, with the yellow, green, and red Franco-American logo. Below the logo is the caption "Schnookums & Meat shaped pasta with meatballs in tomato sauce", and the image of a cartoon dog and cat
Schnookums & Meat Pasta (1995-1995): A canned pasta, mini meatball, and tomato sauce product from Franco-American, with little pasta shaped like the characters from the short-lived Disney Afternoon series "The Shnookums & Meat Funny Cartoon Show"
From Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse Vol. 5: Mickey Mouse Meets Robinson Crusoe Mickey on the phone with Walt Disney, Minnie nearby. Mickey: Hello, Walt -- this is Mickey! I hear you've got a new picture for me! Walt: Yes -- we're going to make "Robinson Crusoe!" Think you'd like to work in it?
Leave it to the good folks at Disney's Australian animation branch to put so much love and heart into a one-shot character in #Bonkers doing a dance routine. That shading! That fluidity!

On this day 14 years ago, an anonymous 4chan user posted a RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 thread showing a 30,696-foot coaster that took four in-game years to finish, complete with riders screaming “I want to get off Mr. Bones Wild Ride” and a looping exit where “the ride never ends.”

Disney animators mapped out the scene in #Bambi where the young prince takes his first walk! I don't recall if this is totally 1:1 with how the final film turned out, but it's always great seeing the amount of planning and detail put into these productions!
Really excited to listen to these! I'm watching along and seeing Faffner Hall for the first time. It's a mixed bag so far, but at the very least, it's interesting!
Audio for the scenes can be found here on a record version of the story, starting at 22:18:

Storyboards for a deleted scene from #WinnieThePooh and the Honey Tree where his friends keep him company with a picnic. Being stuck means Pooh can't actually eat any of the tempting food. There's also a cut scene after Gopher's second visit where he swells up in the rain.
Hot take, but I think the notion of Walt being some evil soulless monster is just as flawed as the idea of him being some perfect flawless saint. He was just a normal dude with both flaws and virtues, and it's wrong to both worship AND demonize him.
Walt was a terrible businessman. He had no idea how to run a company and was often blinded to problems by his own vision of what he wanted to make. But to dismiss him as some kind of fraud unworthy of recognition is just as bad as blindly idolizing him. (1/?)
There would also be a Gameboy game which inexplicably is a Cornbread themed Dr Mario clone.
If Sinners came out in the 90s there would be an SNES and Genesis game that would be made by totally different developers. The Genesis version youd play as Smoke and you’d have a gun and in the SNES version you play as Preacherboy and you fight vampires with your guitar
Mysterious #WhoFramedRogerRabbit concept art found on iCollector. While the site says it's meant for the movie, it looks more to me like it was for one of the attractions for the unbuilt "Roger Rabbit's Hollywood" section meant for MGM Studios.
New video is up, all about the different drafts and iterations of Disney's #Aladdin!

I have a strange affinity for these little guys that I can't fully explain. They're nothing groundbreaking and their creation is more than a little cynical, but I love them just the same! Easily one of my favorite Happy Meal sets.
A box with a blue sky-wispy cloud background and an image of Baloo the Bear and Kit, running over a crocodile below the TaleSpin logo. Next to them are a series of gummy candies shaped like characters from the series
A display of packets of fruit snacks, each one green with white stripes, the TaleSpin logo, and colorful drawings of the series' characters
TaleSpin Fruit Snacks (1991-1992): A line of assorted-flavor fruit snacks, shaped like characters from the Disney Afternoon series, such as Baloo, Kit, and Don Karnage
Sure, there have been plenty of great mascots throughout the years, but only 7Up’s COOL SPOT got their own pair of dollar store sunglasses. (1988)
A painting of the Tower of Tower elevator opening in a cobwebbed hotel lobby, with five ghostly apparitions inside.
"One stormy night long ago, five people stepped through the door of an elevator and into a nightmare. That door is opening once again and this time, it's opening for you."
Photos showing what appears to be #MichaelEisner and King Louie enacting some sort of King Kong spoof. I don't know exactly what's going on here, but I like it.
While the reference to "human" seems a bit out of place, the truth is that Disney characters are just people, not really anthropomorphic animals in the same way as Bugs Bunny.
It's why Mickey and Minnie aren't depicted as cheese-obsessed. It also explains the dichotomy between Goofy and Pluto.

I love what a time capsule this set is! The Spirt of Mickey! Pocahontas II! Flubber! The Black Cauldron's first home video release! Not every Happy Meal can evoke such a specific moment in time.
In an early version the #Aladdin script where Al's mother is present, she faints upon first meeting the Genie. His reaction line ("I haven't seen a fall like that since Rome!") was recorded by Robin Williams and finally used many years later in "Once Upon a Studio."
