Dear Disney Stakeholders: I write to express my deep disappointment in recent decision-making and the suspension and discontinuation of broadcasting of Jimmy Kimmel Live. I am hoping that the outrage over this gross incursion on free speech will result in a reversal of this decision. I don’t even watch or particularly like this show but I am appalled that the show would be cancelled by corporate leadership due to partisan political pressure. I am hoping this will be addressed in a manner more respectful of our democracy. If this does not happen, specific steps we will take to divest from Disney in our small way include: 1. Sell our shares of Disney stock 2. Discontinue visits to Disney parks 3. Discontinue travel on Disney Cruise Line 4. Cancel all Disney+ streaming subscriptions I know this will not cost you kabillions of dollars, but how can I partake of your products when it is tainted by this insult to free speech essential to our democracy and the continuation of creative endeavors by your company?
