Finally watching and somehow the cinema is still packed. Mad longevity

A formulaic idea that for the first half #GOAT managed to feel fresh despite the usual beats of a rags to riches sports movie. The cast chemistry is great but the second half just is a checklist of the usual beats in this sort of movie, but the animation continues to dazzle!

I'll give #StrangersChapter3 this (well the trilogy in general), I see what it's trying to do, take a final girl and break them down psychologically to become the monster they once feared. But the execution is infuriating. Should have been an original IP not a strangers trilogy.

Just got out of #ReturnToSilentHill and whilst it has ps1 level effects, was genuinely hard to look at at times and had so much hammy dialogue and was seemingly endless, I can at least say it tried. However it tries way too much for a 20-25 million budget to work.

Despite my mixed feelings on 28 Years Later #thebonetemple was a glorious time, complete with the most metal scene of 2026! Less of a sequel and more of a continuation of an extended movie, this was a riot!

I was mixed on Years, but #28YearsLaterTheBoneTemple has made my appreciation of the former grow. This is less a sequel and more the second act of an odyssey. Fiennes gives a knockout "how does he not have an Oscar" performance. Also has the most metal scene of the year already!

Back in the cinema full swing to make up for my lack of Paul Mescal emotional trauma last LFF. Though I hear it's Jessie Buckley that will destroy my soul in this one...

After seeing many disappointing finales (iZombie, GoT, Gotham etc.) it's nice to see one stick the landing. Whilst the season was a mixed bag, that epilogue was perfect. Eddie would be proud of Dustin ♥️iykyk
