Happy statehood day, Arizona!
Happy Valentine's Day, #AZ06!
My team and I spent the day delivering valentines to veterans across Southern Arizona to make sure the heroes who sacrificed so much got a little extra love this year. 🩷🌵
Proud to stand with my fellow Hell Cats as we fight for our communites and work to bring servant leadership to Congress.
We're ready to get to work to make our country a safer, more affordable, and better place to live.
Happy Presidents' Day, #AZ06! 🇺🇸
Did you know that 31 U.S. Presidents have served in the military? Veterans understand sacrifice, teamwork, and what it means to put country before self. For many of us, service doesn’t end when the uniform comes off - it continues in new ways.
As a Tucsonan, I thank you for your efforts and thank you for your own service.

Protests against Southern Arizona GOP Congressman Juan Ciscomani continue in Tucson. As citizens keep expressing their dissatisfaction with him, the signs grow ever more interesting.

Great start! Keep up the good work. You have a definite chance at victory.

Support EVERY elected official who makes a loud, noisy stand against the GOP aggression. Don’t complain about timing or any other thing.
Lived near Chi, saw this live on TV. Frankly, it’s the only distinct memory I have of the whole Series.
“Empathy is the oxygen of democracy” sign at Tucson Hands Off rally.
My favorite sign from today’s Hands Off #handsoff Tucson rally.
This the Hands Off rally in Tucson. Hard to count, but low four figures, I’d guess.
Part of a BIG Hands Off rally in Tucson AZ
That, too.
Nearly 100,000 came to their rallies in our Western states.
If you want a spokesman for the vital fight against autocrats and for democracy, get out of the way and let him roll. Dems have no one better (except. AOC and some other House members) at this point. Picking everyone’s policy views apart while the whole thing is on fire is what got them this mess.
The idea that his making the majors against virulent racial opposition is somehow an example of the currently-abhorred DEI is among the stupidest things the current administration, supported by the compliant Republican members of Congress, has done yet.
At least, though, it didn't kill anyone.
The Department of Defense's moronically-deleted article on the Black barrier breaking baseball player Jackie Robinson, a hero in his day and now for bringing about baseball integration, has been restored to the DOD website.
Then on a panel, “Murder in the Family” at the Integrated Learning Center at 10 on the 16th. The Festival is held on the mall and in rooms at the University of Arizona.

The Folks in Tucson gather again today to make clear their disapproval of the current Republican admininistraton. And then, some. Marching from a city park to City Hall Plaza.
Welcome. It’s a nice place.
Our cat SWEARS to one of us that he hasn’t had a drink from his favorite faucet, when the other just turned it off.
Yes, that kind of newsletter.
A true crime podcast about my book, "The Electrocution of Baby Lawrence." The Murder and Mimosas hosts back focus on the story of the crime -- the prejudices toward disabled children, and class distinctions in the 1940s that influenced the case.
