Carey v FEC says hybrid PACs are PACs that have distinct accounts, one to give to the candidate with limits, the other for expenditures around & pertaining to the candidate with no limits. These PACs are referred to as Carey committees--PACs that, like ALL PACs, promote & raise money for candidates.

Well, apparently a hybrid PAC checked off on the FEC filing because a federal court upheld hybrid PAC legality isn't a PAC, especially when WGME reports and uses PAC multiple times to describe a candidate income stream, so we're clearly in an a** is up and head is down time. So much for evidence!
Hybrid PACs are allowed to segregate funds for purposes, and the FEC implemented the guidance for them. Every legal document pertaining to hybrid PACs calls them PACs. The designation being discussed here is not that it is good, bad, dark, or cheating.
Carey v. FEC (2011) and the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia calls hybrid PACs a PAC.
It is organized as a PAC. A hybrid PAC is a PAC. You can even check the statement of organization form. It operates as a conduit but is a hybrid PAC. I don't remember the account but someone here on BlueSky the other day was making the claim about Platner getting millions from a PAC.
I'm dedicated to due diligence. If WMTW needs to be corrected, someone should contact them. I've complained to PPH about the s assault opinion because that's my main battle. I scrutinized WMTW and ActBlue & saw the same things posted here today, so I let the hybrid PAC designation speak for itself.
