Three pieces of the handle is glued together. Two shards from the handle is by the handle

Used Loctite Extreme Glue on the handle of my ceramic mug. Heard it's a good adhesive, but I'm having second thoughts and I'm afraid the handle will break off if I attach it. Should I attach the handle with the glue I have, different glue, or make a new handle?
