I have never seen it says the whale but deep in my body I remember it. The words are cut out and pasted over a picture of trees seen from above. Other cut out words read walk history, ancient home home memory forest you've never seen it. A pakicetus skeleton and a fish overlap a foggy forest . A art image of a whale overlaps the forest sky. the words : "why do you care "says the tuna . "If you will never see it?" "There are bones in my body built to walk through the forest and the mountains" says the whale. I saw the most beautiful patterns. Are glued over the images. Blue butterflies and flowers overlap
I think this falls in the #glue #book category. recycling project cutting & glue. modified ideas & #paper to sort of make something new. I have 5 pages on this particular story .. sometimes I cut and paste letters or colors. I tried recycling a magazine and they said 🙂↔️ so I'm cutting it apart.

A series of mounted black and white photographs I did for a pocket charm book im making. Historical photographs of tattooed femmes I admire, Marsha P Johnson (godmother of queer rights), Whang-Od (the oldest living filipino traditional tattooer), Georgia O'Keeffe (one of my favorite painters. And a series of semi nude photographs of myself that I thought were powerful. One of me with my knees bent seated on the ground in a pair of velvet platform strappy pumps. One of me on my knees in bed in a mesh floral robe smoking a joint. And two of me in sunshine in my backyard wearing a black mesh dress, my breasts are painted with sunlight, im holding a wish flower in one and crossing my fingers in the other.
