Honestly it must have been pretty hard to bring this up.
Yknow the different stages of grief which are set by science as the way we should "process" grief??
Well there's no need to follow it, you wouldn't be wrong if you had not cried
Just be true to yourself, it helps a lot in the long run❤️🩹
FRFR
Def hyped for it!🥳
FRFR I DO "FINAL" "REAL" "LAST" "LASTLASTLASTVERSION" 💀
Dude I finally found you here, I love your devlogs, when is the next one????
Loved this video! I'm def the guy just to make and publish games for fun!
This looks very cool!!
An experiment inspired by Minecraft and Don't Starve. Heavy work in progress. Programmer art + bought asset. No engine used, it's pure .NET + SDL3.

LOVE FRAMEWORK MENTIONED!!!! Love this project!
One of the files in my game is named:-
Pressure_plate_weight_level_two_final.gdscript
And
FinalChar3HeadTextureFix2.png
Needless to say I DO waste time just finding the right file

Same!
And for the question of the day - How does one discern when to abandon a project based on how likely it is that the idea can be turned into a project??

Ralsei is hanging on to a horizontal rope with only one paw. Text at the bottom says, "Hang in there. Deltarune in 22 days."
hang in there

Relatable asf
Game dev is a numbers game.
The bigger the number, the better we think we are doing.
There's some truth to that.
But don't let the numbers bring you down.
Remember anything greater than 0 is a hard-earned win.

This feels so jrpg like🙏🙏
Woah which tab do you have?? I always used resprite since it was familiar but I wasn't aware about pixel studio!
I've honestly been waiting for a dark fantasy game like this for a while!
Is it going to be a soulslike??
Would yall play this? #gamedev #indiegamedev #darkfantasy
(2/3🧵) So my vacations are about to end and I had a idea to take on a challenge to make a game in <1 months
I am more of a programmer than an artist and I like making and implementing systems more than making art
For the game idea and art style I'm going to use a random game idea generator

(1/3🧵) Well it would be better to start with my background before I start rambling about my current project.
I have 1.5yrs of experience of gamedev but, and most importantly, I have NO games published, at most I had 3 prototypes with interesting concepts but no luck with staying with one.
#indiedev
Yeah fr
So there's two things I would recommend:-
1. Get a purely vertical slice of gameplay as soon as possible and publish it as a demo and send it to playtesters, then their response should dictate how you should move ahead!
2. Watch the heart Gamedev podcast, made by the popular ytuber heartbeast!
Woah this is so cool! What's the dimensions of the game screen??
Mostly used to complete the gameplay cycle, or else it would be incomplete!
