Sexual Harassment causes PTSD, depression and physical health issues.

It means people fall out of work, it's a Workerplace Hazard that needs monitoring & prevention.

Fantastic working with The Suzy Lamplugh Trust and Baroness Carmen Smith on amendments to the Employment Rights Bill- tackling the high rates of sexual harrasement in the workplace is early intervention that would have a huge impact on violence against women and girls.

As well as making workplace sexual harrasment a health & safety issue, amendments also call for anonymous reporting.

This is so important given that so many victims leave work rather than report incidents.

And when so many perpetrators are managers or in positions of power.

The new amendments being proposed in the Lords to the Employment Rights Bill (Clauses 99–100) would:
- Make prevention a legal duty
- Require employer risk assessments
- Empower the Health and Safety Executive to act on workplace sexual harassment.

Really important progress for the campaign - Baroness Carmen Smith has laid down amendments to the employment bill that will be heard next week in Parliament.

The amendments seek to make Violence and Harassment at work a Health and Safety issue. 1/2

The new amendments being proposed in the Lords to the Employment Rights Bill (Clauses 99–100) would:

Perpetrators are often managers or authority figures, leaving victims afraid to report. And in some industries, it's a business model used to "pull in the punters." 2/4
