John Travolta stars in the original MICHAEL where he plays an angel. In the 2026 version I can only hope Jaafar Jackson comes to the titular role with the same gravitas that Travolta brought to this 1996 masterpiece that some critics call, "a movie."

I do hope that the new MICHAEL movie keeps the dance scene from the original.
