A ★★★ review of Dr. Cyclops (1940) The King Kong team of Ernest B Schoedsack and Merian C Cooper return with Dr Cyclops, another special effects epic involving jungle thrills and people confronting deadly size differences. But this time, it's the people who get small and the movie is in Technicolor. I really wish the film had kept with the overly-stylized use of vivid colors seen in the first few minutes, but the rest of the picture is rarely dull.
