Some last updates! Added some basic interactions
Gonna call this one done for a while, the purpose of this project was to showcase and learn the environment pipeline in #Godot
I only used One 4k Atlas, 1 color atlas for the character and a custom alpha for the grass. #Gamedev

I do like Material Maker a lot, however I haven't found a good use case where it is better than just doing things directly on godot or just bake a material on Blender. It's really close to Industry Standrd
Perhaps I see A LOT of potential with bigger games, but less effective with personal projects.
Big addition to my reply is: UCUpaint is amazing, the Dev is doing such a top tier quality addon.
But paying the extra for MatPlus and it's very nice UI (And dedicated workspace) feels very much worth it
MatPlus is trying very hard to be SP,all my previous jobs I had to use SP so I feel comfy.
The layer smart mats system is def more fleshed out.
The bake options are streamlined for pbr
The UI feels more comfortable,has dedicated panel
There are a lot of presets and assets for it.
Ease to reuse mats
Can you believe the character texture is done with only a small 256x256 gradient texture including the roughness and metallic values?

Almost done! I learned a lot with this project! I will polish it for 2 more days and perhaps add a simple character and a small UI just for show #Godot
Amazing what you can do with only Open-Source

All assets migrated! Added moss! Starting the waterfalls! Next up grass! #Godot

Adding the extra details such as small branches
Color adjustments
Water effects
Grass and all the good stuff! Times look good so I might add a character
Moss effects will be done by shader on Godot
Just a couple more textures to go, So far everything is just one 4k texture, after adding an extra Atlas texture and testing, it's Godot time!

Very nice results with so little polys! Really getting those Substance painter level results here! That Addon keeps doing wonders in baking and texture management, All those cracks are a clean normal bake straight from #blender
